California restaurant branding · production-aware
Restaurant branding in California — packaging designed for the brand and the material rules.
Brandazzo completes a California restaurant brand in 7 to 8 weeks and treats packaging material as a design decision from the first brief. California restricts the sale and distribution of expanded-polystyrene food-service ware, and its current packaging rules affect what producers can place in the market. We design the identity, menus and packaging together, review the required format and material with the production partner, then print and ship to the California destination. A beautiful box that cannot be sourced or used is not a finished design.

Why this market is different
California packaging cannot be separated from material selection.
The visual system still has to create appetite and recognition, but production begins with real constraints: food contact, grease and moisture performance, available print methods, local requirements, and the end-of-life claims that can legally appear on a package.
Brandazzo is not a law firm and does not replace legal or regulatory advice. We do make material and production questions part of the design process, and we document the final specifications before printing.

Production
Printing and delivery in California
California currently restricts EPS food-service ware because the statutory recycling-rate condition was not met. Material availability and applicable rules can change, so the production specification is checked against current guidance when the order is prepared.
Minimums vary by package and print method. Design is included from 10,000 pieces; lower quantities are quoted separately. Packaging ships to the agreed California receiving address after proof approval and production.

West Perro is tied to Los Angeles. Roca y Sal is included because its seafood packaging demonstrates how performance and visual consistency meet across bowls and trays.
FAQ
Questions operators ask.
Can Brandazzo choose California-compliant packaging materials?+
Brandazzo reviews the intended format and current production options with the supplier, but regulatory applicability depends on the product, operator, and use. Final legal compliance remains the responsibility of the producer and operator.
Is expanded-polystyrene takeout packaging allowed in California?+
California currently restricts producers from selling or distributing EPS food-service ware because the required recycling rate was not demonstrated. Current CalRecycle guidance should be checked for every production decision.
Do you ship printed packaging throughout California?+
Yes. Brandazzo ships to Los Angeles and every other California destination, as well as all 50 US states.
