Client objective
Las Islas Marías needed to move from generic, spill-prone presentation to an experience consistent with its Nayarit-style seafood. The rebrand had to connect product, packaging, uniforms, and communication.
Rebranding + packaging · United States
A rebrand where packaging stops being a generic container and becomes part of a cleaner, safer, more memorable Mexican food experience.
The strategy
Las Islas Marías needed to move from generic, spill-prone presentation to an experience consistent with its Nayarit-style seafood. The rebrand had to connect product, packaging, uniforms, and communication.
The Pacific becomes a system of waves, lighthouse, palm, shrimp, and starfish. Identity is printed directly on bowls, cups, and bags; uniforms distinguish servers, kitchen staff, and hosts without breaking the same story.
The new experience protects the food, improves presentation, and makes every order recognizable. The case demonstrates how restaurant rebranding and custom packaging can improve perception, operations, and shareability.
Designed for production
Every format belongs to one system: clear hierarchy, purposeful surfaces, and a consistent presence across counter service, delivery, and social media.
